On Friday, May 25, it’s the Annual VFW Buddy Poppy Sale! Proceeds benefit disabled veterans and their families in Corry are. There are 5 locations throughout Corry, from 9 am – 3 pm today and Saturday.

It’s another night for KARAOKE!! Join DeeJ Scottie at SPEEDEZ, 13230 Rt 6, Corry from 9 pm – 1 am. No Cover charge!

On Saturday, May 26, come join in the celebration for the Grand Opening/Open House for The Camp at Findley Lake, NY! Take a boat ride around the lake, enjoy a walk on one of the beautiful trails, jump in the bounce house, have some fun playing lawn games, make some crafts with the kids and finish the day with live music. Time is 11 am – 6 pm. Bring some $$$, just in case!

On Sunday, May 27, fire up the grill and enjoy your family and friends! It’s FREE Fishing Day in PA! If you already have a fishing license, bring along a beginner friend or family member to enjoy an opportunity to try our fishing for the first time! There will be several days throughout the season to enjoy Free Fishing Day in PA.

On Monday, May 28, let’s REMEMBER AND HONOR those that have given their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces! The American Legion, Post 365 is hosting the Memorial Day Service @ the pavilion, 1360 Sciota Rd., Corry at 11 am. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. There will be a light lunch to follow.

N. CENTER ST. UPDATE: Both North and South lanes are completely closed at the construction site by the Kwik Fill. Local traffic will still have access to businesses and residences on either side. Motorist are encouraged to use the following streets rather than Center St.: Worth St., Mead Ave., Wayne St., Sciota St., and Shady Ave. This will help with traffic flow during heavier traffic times. The completion of construction is estimated to be APRIL 23 rd.

Don’t forget about the kids! Our Children’s Library is top notch with so many things to do for everyone from the beginner reader to young adults! If you ever wondered what it was like during Prehistoric Times, the Bayfront Convention Center, 1 Sassafras Pier, Erie, has been transformed for Discover the Dinosaurs: Time Trek from 9 am – 5 pm. There will be many interactive activities throughout from Design-a-Dino to Cretaceous Challenge Zone. Add in mythological dragons and you will only have to decide what to see first!
