Station History

WWCB 1370 AM is Corry’s first and ONLY¬† radio station.

WWCB signed on the air, April 2, 1955 as WOTR.

WWCB is licensed to Corry, Pennsylvania; and serves listeners in Northwestern Pennsylvania and Southwestern New York states.  Primarily, listeners in Erie, Warren and Crawford counties in Pennsylvania; and Chautauqua County in New York state.

WWCB has studios and offices located at 122 North Center Street (PA 426), in downtown Corry.

WWCB is a Country / Sports station operating with unlimited hours; broadcasting with 1,000 watts during Daytime operation and 500 watts during Nighttime operation. WWCB also streams portions of its broadcast schedule  (primarily Local Sports) at www.wwcbradio.com.

WWCB has been owned by Greater Corry Area Broadcasting LLP since December 10, 2014.

WWCB has had various well – known personalities on the station. Bruce Lewis, Ron Smith and Barry Warnshius; just to name a few. In fact, at one time the station was owned by Erie broadcasting legend, Art Arkelian; who also owned WYSS 94.3 FM in Saegertown (now WUZZ).

WWCB has had various music formats on the station. From Country music to Top 40 Rock ‘n Roll, Oldies, to Classic Hits and currently with Country. No matter what, the station has been at the forefront of the community of Corry.
