Penn State Wrestling Stand-Out visits Erie

Penn State Wrestling Standout  Zain Retherford, the 2017 NCAA Division I National Champion at 149 lbs, as well as  2017 US Senior World Team Member, recently visited

Mcdowell High School at a Wrestling Clinic and taught area wrestlers from several local schools some technique for 3 hours and talked to them answering questions for nearly 20 minutes.  He then stuck around signing autographs and taking pictures for well over 100

wrestlers, coaches, and fans.

Retherford is a 2 x NCAA National Champion and 3 x All-American will enter his Redshirt Senior Season next Season Wrestling for the Penn State Nittany Lions.  He also won the 2017 Hodge Trophy awarded to the Sports Most Dominant Wrestler.  He won the 2017 World Team Mini Tournament to earn the right to Wrestle 2016 Olympian Frank Molinaro

his Teamate and Assistant Coach at Penn State, in the Best Of Three Matches To earn a spot on World Team that will compete for The USA at The 2017 World Championships in Paris, France.  He won that Best Of 3 Series 2 matches to 1, earning that spot.

Corry Little League Major Boy’s  put on a “Hitting Clinic” Saturday Evening………

Defeating The Iroquois All-Stars by a score of  18-1!

The Hits were plentiful, and the RBI’s just kept rolling in for Corry.

Pitchers  #44 Zach Martin and  #22 Micah Murphy both threw for a combined 10 Strikeouts.

After sorting through all those hits………  It was a Towering Home Run…. Knocked Outta The Park…..That would decide the Crotty Chevrolet Player Of The Game
