Daytime Closures Scheduled for Nebraska Road in Green Township, Forest County

 

Oil City, PA – Nebraska Road (Route 3004) in Green Township, Forest County, is scheduled for daytime closures starting August 20, 2018.

The roadway will be closed to through traffic from the intersection with German Hill Road (Route 4004) to the portion of Nebraska Road that is maintained by Green Township. The closure is necessary for PennDOT maintenance employees in Forest County to complete a series of pipe replacements.

The closures are expected to be in place from 7 AM to 3 PM weekdays from August 20 to September 20, 2018, weather permitting.

A detour will be posted using Route 36, Sage Road (Route 3005) and Nebraska Road (Route 3004).

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
