Library Comic Con returns to Blasco Library

Erie, PA – The Erie County Public Library, in partnership with the GeekERIE, will present its fifth annual Library Comic Con on Saturday, April 27. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Blasco Memorial Library, 160 E. Front St. Event attendance is free, and no registration is necessary. The event is family friendly, and all ages are welcome. The event will feature workshops, an escape room, cosplay replicas, discussion panels, vendors, food trucks, board game demonstrations, retro gaming, books, a photo booth, toys, and comics. Special guests include the 501st Legion and comic authors and artists. Additionally, the library’s Teen Advisory Board will be hosting a free CosProm on Friday, April 26, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Attendees are invited to wear their favorite cosplay and dance the night away. This is a family-friendly dance and all ages are welcome. Attendees over age 18 must present ID when checking in and ages 13 to 18 must show a school ID or library card. Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Library Comic Con is the largest free gathering of comic book and pop culture fans in the tri-state area.
