The Edinboro men’s cross country team fell one spot

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Edinboro men’s cross country team fell one spot to 21st in Wednesday’s U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Coaches’ Poll. Every program ranked in the previous poll remained in the top 25, but 12 teams shifted in the rankings.

The order of last week’s top five teams remained the same. Adams State was first, followed by Colorado Mines, Grand Valley State, Western State and Chico State.

Edinboro was once again the only PSAC program in the top 25. Shippensburg was among three teams “also receiving votes”.

The Fighting Scots also remained atop the Atlantic Region rankings, released on Tuesday. The top five programs in the Atlantic Region did not change from a week ago. Edinboro was proceeded by Shippensburg, Charleston (W.Va.), East Stroudsburg and Lock Haven.

Edinboro returns to action on Saturday, September 29 at the Loyola Lakefront Invitation, hosted by Loyola University Chicago. The race is scheduled to start at 12:15 p.m.
