WOMEN’S SWIMMING RECEIVES CSCAA SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICA TEAM HONORS

 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced its Fall 2018 Scholar All-America Teams today. The Edinboro University women’s swimming team was honored for achieving a cumulative 3.17 grade point average during the fall semester.

The CSCAA Scholar All-America Team award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented twice annually, once in the fall semester/term and again in the semester/term of the NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (Winter/Spring).

The women of Biola recorded the highest team GPA average in Division II with a 3.72, while the Bridgeport men had the highest average among men’s teams, also at 3.72. A total of 122 Division II men’s and women’s teams received CSCAA Scholar All-America recognition.To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes.
